Personality
Ramirez prioritized comfort and luxury and was notably fastidious with his servants, often ordering meals at all hours of the night by ringing a bell in his study that was connected to the kitchen.
He also kept Burricks as pets in a large basement pen filled with hay and a drinking well. Despite their tendency to tunnel, he refused to move them.
Connections
As a Warden, Ramirez was in charge of crime rings in South Quarter, Hightowne, and Downtowne. He was Lord Bafford’s master, collecting weekly cuts from his gambling dens, and regularly bribed City Watch officials for their silence or loyalty.
Ramirez also had an agreement with the Downwind Thieves’ Guild that ensured they would stay away from his estate and do no harm to his people.
He even tried to get Garrett to join him and his fellow Wardens, but Garrett predictably refused. As a result, Ramirez sent two assassins to deal with him that accidentally kill Farkus instead.
Dealings
Ramirez valued coin above all else, spending most nights counting his money and assessing his criminal enterprises. He was also known to use force against those who defied him, advising his thugs to remove debtor’s fingers.
Death
His absence is noted during the events of the Metal Age and his tombstone can be found in the catacombs of Fort Ironwood in Thief: Deadly Shadows.
