Healing Potion

Healing Potions are enchanted elixirs that heal Garrett when consumed.

Uses

  • 4 HP on any difficulty over 10 seconds (TDP)
  • 8 HP on Normal and 4 HP on Hard / Expert over 10 seconds (TMA)
  • 6 HP on any difficulty instantly (TDS)

Tactics

Healing Potions are essential for any thief wanting to live and steal another day as they are the only item sold in shops that restores health. An experienced swordsman or archer can kill many enemies without sustaining injury, but will eventually falter.

Even if confrontation is avoided entirely and Garrett slips through missions undetected, he can still take fall damage or trigger a hidden trap.

There are also other ways to restore health. Food items found in the first two games can restore a few health points and water fountains in the third fully restore any lost health.

Healing Potions are best consumed when Garrett has lost an amount of health close to what they can restore. And despite being able to sneak by most adversaries, it’s still ideal to have at least one or two in case something goes wrong.
