Overview
Most of the City’s residents who bear the title ‘Lord’ or ‘Lady’ are considered nobility. A noble in the City usually has higher privileges and capabilities, both financial and political, than the City’s other inhabitants.
The Baron is at the top of this hierarchy, with several tiers of nobility below him. Those closer to the Baron wield more political power. Conversely, the lesser nobles have less privileges and some even pay a tax to their superiors in higher tiers.
