Constructs

Constructs were a common sight during the Metal Age and are able to patrol and detect intruders like a Human guard. As a result they were utilized by the City Watch and Nobility while the Mechanists held power, but have largely disappeared since their downfall.

Strengths

Constructs are some of the most resilient enemies in the series. Their mechanical nature means they are invulnerable to attacks with a Blade or Arrow and to being knocked out with the Blackjack.

Weaknesses

Constructs are susceptible to explosive force though, rendering them vulnerable to Fire Arrows and Explosive Mines. Alternatively, Water Arrows can deactivate them when fired into the exhaust vent located on their backside, making for a much stealthier takedown.

Watchers

Watchers are Mechanist surveillance devices, usually attached to ceilings, that can detect movement. A small light on them indicates their alertness: green for idling, yellow for caution, and red for danger. They require a nearby power source that can be destroyed to disable them.

Sentries

Sentries are automated turrets that rely on Watchers to acquire targets. Once given one, their outer casing opens to reveal a cannon which will continue to fire until the target is either dead or out of sight. Like Watchers, they require a nearby power source which can be destroyed to disable them.

Builder’s Children

Coming in three varieties, the Builder’s Children are mechanized automatons engineered by the Mechanists to protect their territories and eliminate potential threats. They range in size from small to large and are designed to specialize in reconnaissance or combat.

Variants: Spider, Scout, Guardian

Gargoyles

Gargoyles and other statues are completely immune to conventional weaponry and were brought to life by Gamall in order to protect her lair. While there, however, Garrett uncovered a Keeper glyph which allowed him to destroy them with a strike from his Blackjack.
