Tactics
Fire Arrows do a great deal of damage to Humans, Beasts, and even the Undead which are immune to most normal attacks. The damage dealt depends on where they strike a target, with shots to the torso maximizing their damage potential.
Unlike most other arrows, a Fire Arrow’s trajectory does not arc. Rather, it shoots forward without falling until it hits a hard surface or enemy, regardless of how far you pulled back the bowstring.
As a result Fire Arrows can travel much farther than arcing arrows and it’s important that you account for this while aiming.
Another thing to be aware of is the arrow’s explosive properties. In addition to damaging the arrow’s intended target, the explosion may also damage other enemies in its blast radius.
Aside from their destructive potential, Fire Arrows have many other uses as well, such as detonating an explosive barrel or triggering a mine from afar. They can also relight torches or fireplaces.
Lastly, be careful when equipping or aiming a Fire Arrow, as they will light up the immediate area and potentially give away Garrett’s position.
