The Docks are crammed with small warehouses and a lot of seedy establishments. Due to concerns of a spreading plague, the Docks were put under quarantine by the Watch. Garrett can only access them after using a Keeper door glyph, allowing him through a hidden passage in South Quarter.
The gates leading to South Quarter and the Old Quarter are in the northeast corner. A passage in the east leads to a fence, Dahlia, and eventually to a small storehouse controlled by the Pagans.
West of the gates, players can find a thieving supply store and through some crooked passages are the Bloody Ears Tavern, the First Landing marker, and several piers.
The ship the Abysmal Gale can been seen docked here until the Compendium of Reproach is recovered in Thief: Deadly Shadows. Most houses in the Docks are simple wood and stone cottages. Almost all of them make use of jettying (extended upper levels) and porthole windows.
